By Jane Mlambo| Expelled former Zanu PF Youth leader, Godfrey Tsenengamu has sensationally claimed that the reason why he was booted out of the ruling party was because he developed bad table manners of speaking while eating.
Posting on Facebook after his expulsion from Zanu PF during Wednesday’s politburo meeting, Tsenengamu labelled his former party a looting club who chucked him out for his lack of manners to speak while others were busy eating.
“Punished for bad table manners. I spoke when I was at the table & fellow dinners kicked me out. No Regrets. My Conscience is clear,” said Tsenengamu.
Before his dismissal from Zanu PF, Tsenengamu together with Lewis Matutu named three individuals they accused of running corruption cartels bleeding the economy.
The two’s allegations confirmed widely held speculations that Zimbabwe’s economy is failing to take off due to corruption and abuse of power by people connected to the ruling party.
