By A Correspondent | A high court judge has pushed back is bail ruling for the Harare West MP Joanna Mamombe and her colleague Cecilia Mamombe to Tuesday next week.

Justice Tawanda Chitapi had earlier said he would hand down his judgement today.

Declaring at the close of session, Justice Chitapi said the verdict write up was not ready.

The two are under charges of violating COVID regulations when the legislator held a press address outside the Magistrates Court in support of arrested ZINASU President Takudzwa Ngadziore and other colleagues. Other attendants at the same press address who include the Constitutional Lawyer Lovemore Madhuku we’re not arrested despite the latter even demanding that he be taken in as well at the Harare Central Police Station.
