The Chinese guy pretends to not understand. he also speaks in a way that the cop does not understand. This makes communication impossible. In fact the joke is on the cop. If i was the driver i would have started laughing long ago but he maintains a stoic silence, poker faced. These Chinese would have continued playing this game until the cop got angry and let them go….. as other cops also got frustrated and let them go.
