Embattled Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, this morning once again took a shot at First Lady Grace Mugabe’s aide, Manicaland Provincial Minister of State in the President’s office, Mandi Chimene.
Mnangagwa drew the red line on Chimene’s name threatening her with exposure soon.
“I chair more than five cabinet committees, this should never be construed as being tantamount to running a parallel government. These false, concocted, malicious and frivolous allegations will neither deter nor detract me from diligently and effectively executing my duties and responsibilities as assigned to me by the His Excellency, the President Mugabe,” he said, SEE PART OF THE VIDEO HERE:

Speaking in a rushed press conference from his Munhumutapa offices, Mnangagwa shoved through his second official response to attacks on him by ZANU PF officials aligned to the controversial First Lady.
“I have recently witnessed a disturbing and alien trend whereby party cadres concoct unfounded, unproven, blatant lies and callous utterances and accusations against me with the ultimate objective of deprecating and maligning my person and standing. I have further observed with grave concern as members of the party at various levels exhibit untoward behaviour and make utterances contrary to the dictates of the party constitution and protocol,” said Mnangagwa.
Addressing the closed door CIO monitored press conference at his Monomotapa offices in Harare, Mnangagwa said that he has remained quiet in the face of the vicious attacks because he respects President Robert Mugabe.
Mnangagwa said he is finally opening up to the public after getting authority to speak from the President following a barrage of personal attacks on him by Chimene.
However, as ZimEye.com reveals, Mnangagwa had to the contrary already offloaded insults at Chimene calling her a barking dog yesterday Friday.
In another shocking twist and turn, Mnangagwa today went on claiming he will not be responding to attacks as he considers himself, “a very principled man”, who does not listen to people who speak without thinking.
He had however already opened fire on Chimene, humiliating the First Lady’s personal aide, a development set to worsen already sour relations with Mugabe’s wife. Grace has before accused Mnangagwa of ill-treating and being a serial abuser of women.
A vacillating Mnangagwa humiliated himself by continuing to do exactly what he said he would not and all this in the very same public address. He opened his mouth denouncing the allegations leveled against him that he is leading a faction within the ruling party.
He said that he remains loyal to President Mugabe with whom he has worked for the last 54 years.
Mnangagwa went further to dissociate himself from the communique authored by war veterans which is demanding for Mugabe to step down and pave way for him. He said that government will deal harshly with his supporters who are fingered in the writing and distribution of the communique.
The embattled Vice President declared that he will never destroy ZANU PF nor ever undermine the authority of President Mugabe by splitting the party.
He said that all those spreading propaganda about him leading a faction are people who are out to destroy the party and he will fight to make sure that they are exposed and brought to book.
