In Zimbabwe only pastors trigger and lead successful regime change movements and this is a continuing fearful reality that has ruled for over 53 years since 1963.
These comments were made by analysts over the “ZimEye LIVE-REPORT” program Wednesday morning. Responding to questions, the famous Kariba pastor, Phillip Mugadza said: Robert Mugabe’s ruling “ZANU PF was started by a reverend, Rev (Ndabaningi) Sithole (in 1963), and the first President of this nation was a Rev Canaan Banana, so where am I going wrong now?”, asked Mugadza. His comments came as Zimbabwe’s first viral socio-political movement #ThisFlag led by Pastor Evan Mawarire took to heights this week with President Robert Mugabe threatening to strip Mawarire of his citizenship. The successful ZANU movement was in 1963 started by Rev Ndabaningi Sithole who years later was soon kicked out by Robert Mugabe’s agents in the 70s, the latter who has since ruined the movement causing it to be dogged by crime and a never ending corruption scourge. The assertion being found true, Mawarire’s #ThisFlag campaign may see Zimbabwe not only being rid of crime and corruption, but also removing from its shoulders, Robert Mugabe’s dictatorship regime whose only power and limelight was usurped from the clergy. It’s only thieves, looters (Chombos,Chiyangwas, Kasukuweres, et al) who’re in denial, unfortunately it’s way too late now.
