Terrence Mawawa| MDC leader, Morgan Tsvangirai has said President Robert Mugabe, deserves immunity because of his role in the liberation struggle.

Tsvangirai who had a long standing political rivalry with Mugabe said there was no need to prosecute the 93- year- old former President.

Speaking in an interview with a South African television channel, Tsvangirai said the people of Zimbabwe should concentrate on viable policies to augment nation building.

“I do not think anyone can ever think of prosecuting Mugabe.

You cannot drag a 93-year- old man to court.

I think the old man deserves to rest. He played a pivotal role in the liberation struggle,” said Tsvangirai.

He however said Grace Mugabe was an overzealous and carefree lady who looted State resources.

“As for Grace Mugabe, I think she has a case to answer and she owes the people of Zimbabwe some explanations.

I do not know whether Grace Mugabe will also be granted immunity but personally I think she must be grilled over her actions,” said Tsvangirai.

The former Prime Minister did not say anything about the formation of a transitional government.

  1. Mukoma Farai is doing well on his job. Big up Fatso. We love Zimeye. Now i will wait for respond kuna sisi.

  2. We want vaMugabe now to be left alone and enjoy, protected, loved (i love him) and enjoy how the country will take its first step.

We also must focus on what we all can do best. If you can do your work better, they i can do mine better without having wanting to see how the this doing, because we know this does it well his job.

We want people like you to start now responding to people like me (small scale business in UK, ). We grow big if we can kick start like this,

Here in Uk, is market for almost everything. There is 250 00 Zimbabweans here all educated and they are all permanent citizens here. If you can focus on Cde Tswangirai, saying people abroad must come back home. What does he mean? Ask him this, please.

Debate with him about, what if we can finance people abroad to run business their and co-operate capital with others and open more new business back home? He will eventually agree with you and we want 2 of you then to encourage the government to finance us doing business here.

Whereby we would write our business plans and send them over and get finance if one got a brilliant idea.

Its painful here my wonderful idea has had to wait because i am short of $1000.00. I have a small business, but what i get all finish on rent and bills before i think of advancing my business.

People in politics has been last time playing hard to get and go abuse our resource God knows doing what. But lets take this opportunity sevanhu veZimbabwe kutanga kutoshanda izve zvi, ini newe tine basa!

  3. Tswangirai is a gentleman, i wish he were in his young age and could train for a doctor, you know well he would treat everyone the same. Like everyone else, he fail and he correct his mistakes and come back a better person. He is at his pick and has well experienced Zimbabwean people’s needs and if given a chance he also can do well, he did well when he was Prime Minister. I liked him when he go on holiday in his shorts and sunglasses together with his wife.

I like how he is motivating to work, regardless he is not in power. He also have a place in our heart and he has no difference to any others.

Why can’t we move on Tichipana Sando Dzedu muZimbabwe. Imi vahanzvadzi Sarah ndimi mungato kwanisa kumover on nokukasira, kuitira kuti isu tose titewere wosure kwenyu mune zvakanaka.

  4. Mugabe stole enough money that could bring back zimbabwe;s economy if returned. There goes Tsvangirai giving blanket immunity without conditions. He cannot be spared returning our money old or not
