By Langton Ncube|Norton MP, Temba Mliswa has claimed that the former Zanu PF secretary for administration and former Finance minister, Ignatius Chombo was using President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s aides with the intention of returning to the party.
Mliswa said one of Mnangagwa’s aides was Cuthbert Mpami who was recently given a senior Zanu PF position in Midlands.
Mliswa is also accusing Mpami of corruptly acquiring land in Norton.
“It’s disturbing when land barons like Mpami are appointed Zanu PF legal sec for Midlands. He should be investigated as to how he got land. It’s likely that the money being remitted to Chombo from these unscrupulous land deals is being used to finance Chombo’s political comeback,” said Mliswa on his twitter handle.
Chombo was ousted from Zanu PF last month during a military coup which put Mnangagwa in power.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with corruption.

Mellisa was given a US3 million ,a farm using whose influence? By the Mnangagwa is his cousin,Didmas Mtasa his uncle ,he was also affiliated to VP Mujuru everything was going well.Fast forward to 2018 the guy can’t service his loan he was chucked out of Zanu he got so many enemys created when Zanu was using him .He’s fighting for his survival in politics right now and you admiring him.He should have stayed to cricket coaching

I don’t think he be saying all this had he been welcome to Zanu and given a position.Mliswa instead should keep a cool head and stop being short sighted.As for you ,if you still admiring politicians then you need to grow up politically off course.
Probably a good presidential candidate in Zimbabwe politics. This person is intelligent and objective although at times he confuses people.
You’re right Icho, of all legislators, Mliswa is one that really shoots from the hip. He fears no height,position or what he’ll lose in the process. He’s not lazy to think and will give all details and proof. I enjoy his contributions a lot
I admire Mliswa for always speaking out his mind. he is one guy who calls a spade a spade. In other words he is confirming that the removal of the former President did not in way change the ZANU PF system of corruption, cruelty and selfishness.
