By Paul Nyathi| Students at the National University of Science and Technology in Bulawayo have shut down the college in a mass demonstration this morning.

The students have blocked off all entrances to the campus and are picketing in front of the main entrance and on the main Bulawayo to Beitbridge Highway.

Traffic on the busy highway came e to a stand-still as the scores of students cordoned the road.

It was not yet clear what the students are demonstrating about but the university has not been having proper learning since the lectures went on strike three weeks ago.
