Chamisa And The Reality Of The Bullet Train

Hon. Chris | Skepticism steeped in sheer Ignorance .

I don’t seem to understand the incredulity spawned by President Nelson Chamisa’s intention to bring a bullet train to our shores. Well is it because he lacks capacity to do it or that he does not have the wherewithal to do it? Well some Zimbabweans are a silly lot who hide behind thin fig leaves of intellectualism. If other countries can have bullet trains what can stop us? Does anyone at all know that there is a the Gau Train in South Africa.

Hon Chamisa once promised that people will get sim cards for free, many took his words at that time with a pinch of salt for. Few years down into his brief as Minister of ICT, bob is your uncle, the sim cards became a dime a dozen and he became the best minister. It goes without saying that people used to sleep in queues to buy a mere sim card, some sold their livestock to buy them.

It look like some of us have gotten used to mediocrity which had become staple during Mugabe’s 37 years of misrule. Consequently they would rather Chamisa promise more donkey carts.

The idiotic arguments with which we are been plied left right and far center from some social media smart alecs with ten idle fingers to type on their contraptions seem to vindicate President Chamisa’s statement earlier that.
“I hope that as we go into the election, you can see the kind of the digital faces you have, against the analogue faces who are already in government, it is going to be an exciting contest, isn’t it?
“It’s a clear contest between the past and the future, the iPad generation versus the mbira generation, and that makes it an exciting election and an election is about choice and we hope that you are going to be able to choose the leadership that you truly deserve.”

We can see individuals who are dead set in ways of the 60s. Motivational speaker and author Milton Kamwendo once wrote that a frog that thinks the pond is world will never reach the sea. However much we try to take some analog minds into the new millennium we can’t seem to take the analog mentality out of their system.

Na Chamisa our children will be having ebooks soon.#daretodream.
