By Farai D Hove| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has signed Zimbabwe Into the Kazungula Bridge deal.

Below was his anmouncement Sunday morning:

“Yesterday I joined President Khama of Botswana and President Lungu of Zambia to inspect progress at the Kazungula Bridge.

The bridge was due to link Zambia and Botswana, but yesterday we agreed to incorporate Zimbabwe into the project, which will allow us to benefit from the increased regional integration, development and trade it will bring.

Our involvement in projects such as this will have a big impact on our economy, and also sends a message to businesses and governments around the world that the era of an isolationist Zimbabwe is over!”
