By Own Correspodent| People’s Rainbow Coalition leader, Joice Mujuru has lost a key member of her executive (PDP side).

Mr Sikhumbuzo SK Ndiweni was the MP in the wait for Ntumbane Constituency. He told ZimEye.com Thursday night, “yes it is true that I have resigned from being a member of PDP.

“The decision was arrived after some introspective and consultations with family members, needlessly to say that this was one of the hardest decisions to make. “Politics is part of my life and will answer to any call to serve people in any field as their servant. I have made friends in the party which I served and have great respect for its leader Mativenga, but it was that time that I move and I did move.

“I wish the PDP and its leadership under Hon Lucia Mativenga well and I hope we will meet in other platforms. Indeed there is a need for opposition partys to speak with one voice and Zimbabweans in the walks of life pray for that so do I.”

Meanwhile below was the full text of his letter to his boss Lucia Matibenga:

After some serious and honest soul searching over the events within our party and my formal role and how it has been allowed to play out in the daily activities of the party, I have realised that I am merely a space holder in the organisation, one who practically does not seem to value add much to the party. I think most like am a victim of my own expectations due to what I understood my role to entail. Such a realization can be very damaging and irreparable, believe me. It is this realization and its attended impact that after many weeks of souls searching, brings me to this inevitable place where I must do the right thing under such circumstances. I write to tend my resignation from the position to which I was deployed as well as other adhoc and standing committees responsibilities which I had been assigned to with immediate effect as well as membership in the party. I thank you for entrusting me with the responsibility of such a high office in PDP. I value each one of you at an individual level and wish you the best in both your individual and collective endeavours.
