Sports Minister Kazembe Kazembe has taken over a farm belonging to Blackfordby College of Agriculture.

The farm is situated 60 km North West of Harare.

Sources at the college said Kazembe
has been eyeing the farm since 2016.

Kazembe was catapulted to the Sports Ministry in
December following a military takeover that ousted
former President Robert Mugabe last November.

“The Minister and soldiers have taken over the farm and the move has impacted negatively on
the training programmes for farmers.

It’s mainly
affecting our practicals,” said a senior college
official who declined to be named.

The college offers a Diploma in General Agriculture,
which is the main course on offer at Blackfordby.

Kazembe claimed there was
a plot by his rivals in the Zanu PF primary
election race to soil his reputation.
