Two men were arrested while allegedly in possession of 30 bags of mbanje in Damofalls.

The mbanje weighed 710 kgs with a street value of $51 000.

The two, Alphonse Mushanawani and Brighton Dinda, both aged 28, appeared in court today.

They are facing a charge of dealing in dangerous drugs.

Appearing before Harare magistrate, Ms Estere Chivasa, they denied the charges.

There was drama when the bags of mbanje were produced in court as exhibits. ZRP cops counted the bags in full view of the court as the accused watched.

The case continues.
