Molokele In Massive Election Victory

By Paul Nyathi|Prominent former students leader at the University of Zimbabwe Daniel Molokele officially known as Fortune Mguni has won the Hwange Constituency MDC-T primary elections.

Mguni heavily defeated long serving Parliamentarian Brian Tshuma when he got 1012 votes against Tshuma’s 77 while the party District Chairman Peter Mhaka got only 18 votes.
Mguni returned to Zimbabwe early last year from his base in South Africa and began his campaign to represent his home district in parliament.
The former very powerful student leader is known for efficiently running the Learnmore Jongwe Foundation through the years from his own meagre resources while living in South Africa.
