By Own Correspondent| Spokesperson of the breakaway faction of the National Patriotic Front (NPF), Jelousy Mawarire has courted controversy after saying God’s plan is to destroy President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy Vice President Constantino Chiwenga for rebelling against former president Robert Mugabe and staging the November 17 coup.
Commenting on yesterday’s White City Stadium explosion which Zanu Pf has claimed was targeting President Mnangagwa and the party’s top leadership, Mawarire said just like Korah and Dathan who rebelled against Moses, President Mnangagwa and VP Chiwenga had rebelled against former president Robert Mugabe and yesterday’s explosion was God’s response to their rebellious actions against the former leader..
In a tweet, Mawarire warned people to stay away from the tents where President Mnangagwa and VP Chiwenga will be sitting in future to avoid being caught up in crossfire.
Said Mawarire in a tweet:
When Korah (Chiwenga) & Dathan (ED) rebelled against Moses (RGM) citing his age, some of us knew that God makes mad those He wants to destroy. Pliz Zimbabweans stay away from the tents of Korah & Dathan for God wants to introduce a new way of destroying his people's enemies pic.twitter.com/MlZcDYOmfk

Mawarire likened the former President Robert Mugabe to Moses and said God was about to “destroy the two (Mnangagwa and Chiwenga) and their sympathisers for rebelling against Moses (Mugabe).
After Korah(Chiwenga) & Dathan (ED) rebelled they had their own followers & congregation (Junta PF) but it was God's plan 2 destroy these rebels & their sympathisers. Very soon God will open up the earth & introduce a new way of destroying his people's enemies. #JuntaIsFalling pic.twitter.com/PNpFhyenjL

Mawarire justified his “warning” to citizens adding that those who associated with “Korah and Dathan” would not be spared.
He said the blast at White City Stadium was a result of the violence “of the November 17 coup” which saw the resignation of Mugabe and ascendancy of Mnangagwa to the presidency.
What's evil about warning Zimbabweans from getting close to renegades whom God wants to destroy? Those that stayed away from Korah & Dathan were spared God's wrath. If u don't understand the Bible u won't understand the allegory. https://t.co/GG2y0xOuyO

People died during the much publicised "operation Restore Regacy" and many on twitter turned a blind eye, even attacking those against the coup. I got criticised for condemning the coup. Violence begets violence. Look what's happening. https://t.co/BTLeqLeK7I

However, citizens reacted differently to Mawarire’s tweet with some alleging that he was behind the attack which left at least 48 people injured 3 of them seriously.
Your tone Jealousy Mawarire puts you in a suspect position. How about the coincidence of your party financier Robert Mugabe and his wife leaving for Singapore a few days before grenade-attack? As spokesman; can you explain why you lot should be ruled out as suspects?

What about people like Ndira and other MDC cadres who died at the hands of the same people. You seem to think that murder, violence and injustice in Zimbabwe started with the coup which shows how compromised you are and therefore not worth taking seriously!
