President Emmerson Mnangagwa has titled himself a prophet. Mnangagwa took on the accolades in a post which he published late last night titled, “Another Major Project comes on board”

By Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa| This morning we broke the ground for the $4.2bn platinum mining project in Mhondoro-Ngezi, a truly momentous project that will create 15,000 direct jobs and a further 75,000 indirectly. The complex will contain a mine smelter, a refinery and a 300 megawatt solar power station, and will enable us to produce 14.4 million ounces of platinum by 2023. This is the latest in a series of major mining and infrastructure projects that we have begun in just eight months. It is through investments such as these that we will transform our economy. We are marching towards a new and prosperous Zimbabwe for all.
