Jane Mlambo| A Cholera outbreak has been reported in Mbare National though the number of affected people is not yet known.

According to Community Water Alliance (CWA), the outbreak was reported in Mbare National along First Street and Second Street with the organization saying it is finalizing details of the number of affected people.

Government yesterday declared cholera outbreak a national disaster following Minister f Health, Obadiah Moyo’s visit to Beatrice Road Infectious Disease hospital.

Close to 20 people have been reported dead with thousands affected in one of the most deadly outbreaks since 2008.
