Terrence Mawawa|A Shurugwi man has been arrested for bashing his wife following a heated argument over a plate of sadza.

According to facts presented by State Prosecutor Bertha Bore the incident happened on November 20, 2018.

According to facts of the State Case, Daniel Dzingai arrived home on the day and he was given a plate of sadza with vegetables by his wife.

Dzingai attempted to assault his daughter who ran away and informed her mother.

Dzingai took a log and assaulted his wife Yeukai Sibanda all over her body.He accused her of failing to prepare sadza with meat.

Magistrate Sithabile Zungula sentenced Dzingai to two months in prison.
