Grade Six Pupil Seriously Injured As Council Employee Throws Spikes At Moving Vehicle

Farai Dziva|A Grade Six pupil at Hwiru Primary School in Gutu Mupandawana was seriously injured when an overzealous council employee threw spikes at a moving vehicle.
The incident happened in Mupandawana town last week.
Gutu Residents and Ratepayers Association(GURRA) has condemned the council employee’ s unprofessional and reckless conduct.
“As Gutu United Residents and Ratepayers Association (GURRA) we condemn in the strongest terms the illegal use of spikes and clamping of vehicles.
We have received a report about a Grade Six child who was seriously injured when one enthusiastic council officer threw spikes at a vehicle in Mupandawana town,”GURRA said in a statement.
