I would like to request your support for the Zim Gems Netball Team which qualified to play in then upcoming Netball World Cup in Liverpool from 12-21 July 2019. Our Netball Team is a national asset and the government will take care of their flights and accommodation, however we felt that as the Netball World Cup 2019 is being held in the UK, it is a lovely idea for us a UK Zim community to raise funds to give to the team on their arrival, as a token of saying “Thank you for putting Zimbabwe on the World Map & making us proud!”

I was appointed as the coordinator for all fundraising events in the UK by the Zimbabwe Netball Association and I’m working with a team of people spreading the word, encouraging them to buy tickets to watch our dream team in action as well as arranging several fundraising events and seeking sponsorship.

We kindly invite you to our fundraising dinner on behalf of the Netball Team on 25th May 2019 from 5pm-midnight in Liverpool. It will be a pleasure to have you. Tickets are on sale on EventBrite and will share the link.

However, if you cannot attend, kindly assist us by sharing the fundraising fliers and spreading the word.

Also any donation cash or kind is welcome.
