ZANU PF President, Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday appointed a new permanent secretary for the ministry of Health And Childcare.

The first announcement had been hinted by the chief secretary to the president and cabinet.

Mnangagwa appointed Dr Agnes Mahomva to the ministry of Health.

Dr Agnes Mahomva (pictured), heads the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation. She has also been the president of the Zimbabwe Medical Association since 2014.

Meanwhile, Mnangagwa also appointed Simon Masanga as PermSec in the ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare.
