A MBARE man has been accused of physically and verbally abusing his mother because she failed to pay back his money.

The matter came to light at the Harare Civil Court where Margret Chidowa was applying for a protection order against Gift Chidowa who she said physically and verbally abuses her.

“Your worship he beats me up, insults me and chases me with harmful objects because of the money l borrowed him on behalf of his sister.
“His sister was in an emergence state that required her to borrow some money and l asked him to lend her money since l did not have it.

“My daughter failed to return that money on time and unfortunately she went out of the country where she is now staying.

“Your worship, l have had sleepless nights because of my son’s torturous behaviour.
“He damages my property and harasses me in public. H-Metro
