Own Correspondent|President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s advisor Trevor Ncube has thrown the blame for the unpopular fuel price increase on ordinary Zimbabweans claiming that they asked for the increase and must therefore endure it.

In a very sensational post on Twitter on Tuesday, Ncube accused Zimbabweans for demanding the removal of the 1 to 1 rating of the Zimbabwean surrogate currency to the US Dollar.

Fuel prices shot up by about 50% on Tuesday the day the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe announced that fuel buyers were now going to be sourcing their own foreign currency to purchase the scarce petroleum products.
