Musician Tocky Vibes, real name Obey Makamure, was forced to change the name for his newborn baby after irate nurses refused to sanction the name that he had chosen.

Tocky had named his son, Chamakuvangu, after an album he did last year. However, the nurses at the clinic protested against the name and informed the musician that they were not going to write the name on the baby’s card.

The affable musician did not take this to heart and renamed the baby after himself, calling him Obey Junior.

Speaking to online publication, 263chat, the musician said,

I had named him Chamakuvangu but manurse akabva azviramba ndikazongomuti Obey Junior Makamure (nurses denied the name and I had to settle for Obey Junior Makamure).
