Farai Dziva|MDC leader Nelson Chamisa has literally rescued the Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda from public ignominy at Vimbai Tsvangirai’s final farewell event at the City Sports Centre.

A perplexed Mudenda came face to face with the “rudiments of public anger” as his voice was drowned by loud protests from MDC supporters who heckled him for addressing Emmerson Mnangagwa as ” the President.”

Chamisa was quick to rescue the bemused Speaker of Parliament.

“Let us respect the office of the Speaker of Parliament and above let us give due respect to our departed sister.

We all know that Mr Mnangagwa is the Zanu PF President so let us not be too emotional,” said Chamisa.
