Yesterday evening Mutharika was said to have offered to resign if Mozambique would offer him asylum .

However the DPP National Governing Council has advised him to wait as they have a plan to get read of Chakwera and Chilima. We are still connecting the dots on how it will be done.

As usual Dausie pleaded with Mutharika not to resign as doing so would leave them helpless.

“There is too much against us” said Benny Phiri and Dausie.
