An ouctry was early Tuesday raised over the welfare of MDC MP Job Sikhala.

Sikhala was subjected to a state media onslaught following his recent remarks at a party rally.

The state media claimed Sikhala’s statements were treasonous, just as the below alert was raised by the COZWA association. Below was the full text(unedited):

Dear Zimbabweans

I’m receiving a very sensitive msg from best friend and brother, Hon Job Sikala this hour of the night. I don’t understand it but I thought I shld share it with you. Here is the message:-

[07/09, 01:32] Job Sikala: Please tell my wife Mai Job that I love her so much. I have left savings I think will take my children up to University. Tell her to take care of all my kids. Please please do. I love all my kids. She must be conservative and make sure that Josh and Fide do not leave the schools I have put them.

[07/09, 01:32] Job Sikala: My relative and colleagues. I would like to tell you that I am ready to die. I have been sacrificed. Bury me well. Have been taken by my enemies. I don’t know whether I will come out alive. My ancestors have talked to me. Mosara zvakanaka. Give me a wonderful send off.

Zimbabwe let’s all unite and assist this man. He is being sacrificed for each and every Zimbabwean who is suffering today, fighting for our future democracy and freedom.
