Chipezeze Club Signs New Goalkeeper
11 July 2019
Farai Dziva|Elvis Chipezeze’s team, Baroka FC, has signed a new goalkeeper ahead of the new season.
The new signing is a 30-year old Namibia international Loydt Kazapua.
A statement on the club’s official Twitter account reads: “Baroka FC signed number one Namibian international goalkeeper, Loydt Kazapua. Welcome come home Moroka.”
Kazapua arrival comes at a time Chipezeze is battling with match-fixing allegations.
The Zimbabwean is being accused of selling the result in the Warriors’ 4-0 loss to DRC at the 2019.
His coach at Baroka, Wedson Nyirenda, has tried to stand by him but the accusations seem to be weighing too much on the keeper who has since approached his lawyer as part of efforts to clear his name.
