Why Are Ndebeles Always Crying Of Tribalism?

Dear Editor|Has anyone ever noticed that Ndebeles always bring up issues to do with tribalism.

When we go to Bulawayo we are treated rough if we can’t speak isiNdebele. But when Ndebeles come to Shona speaking areas, we want to learn Ndebele words from them and find out about their culture.

In my years of existence, I have never met a Shona who hates Ndebeles. Not even 1. But somehow Ndebeles seem to think there is a plan against them. What happened in Gukurahundi was Zanla versus Zipra. It was people at the top & not the general Shona populace.

This victim mentality will stop you guys from playing your part in building your businesses, building your city, and building this nation. Even Somalis & Nigerians will thrive business-wise while you complain about Shona teachers. If Nigerians are opening shops everywhere and noone is killing them, what more our Ndebele brothers if they want to do well. I had Ndebele teachers in my school and not once did we condemn them.

The prison is your mind… Some of us keep moving forward to build our nation.
