ln a serious act of political desperation, last night the illegitimate regime arm-twisted our national police to issue an 11th hour prohibition order against the people’s Free Zimbabwe march.

However, no such desperate attempts will not be allowed to stop the people of Zimbabwe from fully expressing themselves in line with Section 59 of the Constitution.

The people of Zimbabwe remain determined to continue with the march today. To this end, an urgent application to the High Court was filed by the people’s lawyers last night. The matter has been set for an urgent hearing at 7am today at the High Court.

The urgent application is seeking for the High Court to set aside the prohibition order immediately. lt is also seeking for an interdict to bar anyone from interfering with the people’s march today.

The people of Zimbabwe must be rest assured that no stone will be left unturned to make sure that no one stops the people’s Free Zimbabwe march from going ahead today.
