On the 4th of September 2019 I introduced a motion in #Parliament in which I questioned the Ministry of Health to provide answers on governments public disaster management plans given the job action notice by Drs on the 30 of August.

I questioned the Minister about the plans and measures the government was taking to come up with a lasting & permanent solution to personnel issues relating to medical doctors.

There was NO satisfactory response given beyond the blabbering and empty slogans now associated with this regime.

Now, Instead of addressing conditions of medical personnel they resort to what they know best: #Abductions! I personally call upon government, its securocrats and its paramilitary infrastructure to release Dr Magombeyi without delay. I can’t imagine the trauma his family is going through! #NoToAbductions-Joanna Mamombe
