Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Ndabaningi Mangwana has blamed an invisible third force for the abduction of Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association (ZHDA) President Peter Magombeyi.

According to Mangwana, the state has no reason to undermine itself and destabilize the country through acts of abductions on its citizens.

“This Administration has no reason to destabilise this country by abducting its citizens. Threats to the security of persons and acts of terror are ultimately threats to the security of the State. There is no rhyme nor reason for the State to undermine itself #3rdForce,” said Mangwana.

Health and Child Care minister Dr Obadiah Moyo has also come out in the morning condemning Magombeyi’s abduction saying that state security agents were ceased with the matter.

Magombeyi was abducted yesterday and the matter has been reported at Budiriro Police Station.

He is still to be found and his colleagues have picketed in town to hand over a petition to the government and have vowed never to return to work until Magombeyi is found.
