By A Correspondent- Zimbabwean born Al Jazeera reporter, Harugumi Rozabela Mutasa has posted a controversial post on Twitter in which she suggested that she thinks she was going to die young.

She posted:

I think I am going to die young …. there I said it. Don’t be shocked when it happens . Don’t know why, just a feeling.

It is not known why she tweeted such a negative post but others have suggested that she was depressed.

On 15 October 2019, Mutasa announced on Twitter that she was leaving twitter due to cyber bulling on the platform.

Whilst several studies have shown that usually, depressed people are likely to commit suicide, a number of Haru’s followers on Twitter urged her to seek professional help whilst urging Al Jazeera to assist her.
