Farai Dziva|ZINASU has said Emmerson Mnangagwa’ s government should not torment innocent and hapless citizens.

In a statement ZINASU condemned the persecution of its former secretary general Makomborero Haruzivishe by government agents.

See statement below:
We seek to condemn in the strictest of terms the arrest of former Zinasu Secretary General Makomborero Haruzivishe on trumped up charges of inciting public violence.

Mako’s arrest exposes the paranoia of a regime that is keen on warfare with the citizens more than their welfare. A band of unintelligent people who know no difference between insight and incite.

If the state is so keen on arresting those inciting public violence, they should apprehend and lock away inflation, the exorbitant and unjustifiable fees hikes for, if the regime cares to know, such and more are inciting the students and the general public to something way bigger than public violence.

Arresting noble and patriotic voices like Mako will never wish away the financial and social hell him and many of us young people are groaning under and pointing out.

We are just but messengers of the poor, the neglected and the financially afflicted as a result of economic misrule and mismanagement by a regime that loots resources more than it looks after its citizens.

The regime must listen and declare war on corruption, poverty, inflation, the exorbitant cost education and many ills that are making life unbearable for the ordinary citizen and in us they will find willing helpers.

Arresting us will never wish away our discontent and will only incite citizens.
