There are stormy moments in life when friends & comrades do more than just walk with you; The indispensable solidarity you gave me when I was attacked & arrested by ZRP. Thugs made me feel like ya’ll had become angels that protected me during my incarceration.

I was brutally attacked, robbed of my phone, tortured (they hit my knee-caps with baton sticks whilst I was handcuffed from the back).

I am out on bail, recovering & I managed to identify some of the perpetrators. I will do all in my means to ensure justice is realized.

I am truly humbled by your messages of support, concern, care & solidarity.

I am more motivated by this unfortunate experience to fight harder for an inclusive and democratic Zimbabwe where all citizens issues & concerns are heard & addressed. – Makomborero Haruzivishe
