The EU in Zimbabwe has expressed concern over the missing MDC Alliance activists whose whereabouts are unknown after being arrested by the police at a roadblock in Harare.

The trio, MDC Alliance MP Joana Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri and Netsai Marova are missing despite confirming that they had been arrested and were being taken to Central Police station in Harare.

Their lawyers and relatives were however told by the police after visiting several police stations in Harare that no such arrests had been made.
