By Jane Mlambo| MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has claimed that his former Secretary for Policy and Strategy Morgan Komichi imposed himself on his election team in the run-up to the July 2018 elections.
Chamisa was responding to remarks by Komichi that he confided in Senator Douglas Mwonzora that the youthful politician would fall.
“The chief elections agent was Jameson Timba. Komichi went there saying he was interested in knowing what was happening, but he was not an official of my team,” Chamisa said.
Komichi told journalists on Friday that he was never part of the MDC Alliance but was working on a strategic pull out.
“I was never part of them, even if you ask our secretary-general Douglas Mwonzora, I used to pull him (Mwonzora) by the side telling him that he should relax and wait because the time for Chamisa would come to an end sooner,” he said.
