ZRP In Gweru reportedly arrested the wife of an MDC Alliance Activist Tamuka Denhere who was abducted last night when she went to ZRP to report the abduction. This was revealed on Twitter by the MDC Alliance Social Welfare Department in a tweet that reads:

Tamuka Denhere’s wife, visited Gweru Central Police Station to file a report in the morning about her husband who was abducted last night in Gweru. Instead of getting help from the police, she was arrested for reporting an abduction. #ZimbabaweanLivesMatter

It is still not clear what Denhere’s wife is being charged with as her party failed to provide more details apart from the circumstances leading to her arrest.

Denhere was abducted last night in Mkoba in Gweru and he was later on dumped at Harare Central Police Station where he is being detained according to the party which said it is clear the abductors are working for the state:
