By A Correspondent- United Methodist Church (UMC)-run Africa University (AU) has announced new tuition fees for the September to December 2020 semester.

The Mutare-based university set the fees in United States dollars but students can pay in Zimbabwe dollars at the ruling exchange rate.

The fees are as follows:

• Diploma – US$350.00
• Undergrad – US$450.00
• Masters – US$700.00
• PhD – US$850.00

The tuition fees listed above include fees and building levy, but exclude project fees for final year students and dissertation for Masters programmes. AU said in a notice:

Students can pay [fees] in ZWL at the ruling forx auction rate. These fees exclude; project fees for those in the final year semester, field work for Social Work and Faculty of Agriculture students, Attachement for Masters programme.
