Friends of the late Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure have taken over funeral processes at a time his business partner and ex-lover Zodwa Mkandhla also seems to be edging towards total control of his wealth and properties.

The friends, yesterday donated groceries and cash to Moana’s family amid reports the Kadungure family were struggling to foot funeral expenses.

The friends led by spokesperson Ronald Muzambe have also emerged to water down social media claims that the flamboyant businessman used juju in his business saying they walked together with him when he started small selling vegetables in Harare.

On the other hand Zodwa is believed to have claimed inheritance on all wealth and properties owned by Ginimbi claiming they were business partners.

The coming on board of Ginimbi’s friends and Zodwa partially addresses the challenges surrounding his funeral which was being funded by well-wishers including Deputy minister of youths, Tinoda Machakaire who donated a coffin while other notable personalities including Temba Mliswa contributed to the mega funeral.
