By A Correspondent| The High Court will today sit to hear the bail appeal by MDC Alliance deputy chairperson and Zengeza West legislator Job Sikhala.
Sikhala as arrested a fortnight ago and charged with communicating falsehoods after he posted on social media that a police officer had killed an infant along Second Street while trying to hit a commuter omnibus which was loading at an undesignated point.
The forceful legislator was denied bail by the Harare Magistrates court prompting him to appeal at the High Court.
Sikhala’s collegue, Fadzai Mahere who also arrested over the same offence has already been granted bail while journalist Hopewell Chin’ono had his bail appeal ruling reserved by Justice Davison Foroma yesterday.
