Makwarimba succumbed to the pandemic on Sunday night.

Initial reports indicated that the Zanu PF stalwart died of kidney complications.

However, family sources revealed the Zanu PF stalwart succumbed to Coronavirus.

“Zanu PF Central Committe member and former Masvingo RDC CEO becomes 65th Covid 19 fatality in Masvingo Province.

His family has confirmed that the late Makwarimba tested positive for Coronavirus,” an impeccable source told ZimEye.com.
