Zimbabwe’s National Housing and Amenities minister Daniel Garwe yesterday said Zimbabwe is soon to export water to South Africa.

The development comes as Zimbabwe struggles to supply its small population with daily water amid massive rationing.

Speaking in Beitbridge, minister Garwe said local and international banks will fund the massive project that’s to create a greenbelt in its path to the south.

“This is in line with the vision of the new dispensation led by President (Emmerson) Mnangagwa. We have brought with us representatives of BancABC and Sallini Construction who are here,” he said.
