By A Correspondent | The respected Reporters Without Borders organisation has called on authorities to end all and any remaining accusations against award winning journo, Hopewell Chin’ono.

In a short brief just after the state lost the falsehoods-publishing case against Chin’ono, yesterday, RSF said, ” some of the charges against Hopewell Chin’ono Hopewell Chin’ono have been dropped today.

“The investigative journalist has spent 80 days in detention last year.

“@RSF_inter calls on the authorities to end all the baseless accusations & legal proceedings against him.”

Chin’ono was arrested last year and charged for sharing the video of a Harare woman whose child was assaulted by a police officer, according to eye witnesses. At the time, the police released two different identifies of the woman.
