Zimbabwean champions FC Platinum have entered into a partnership deal with Spanish side Real Betis which might see some players from the Zvishavane based side playing in the La Liga.

Real Betis which opened an academy in Zimbabwe last year through a partnership with Athletes Sports Management is exploring more partnerships with Zimbabwean football with FC Platinum being the latest entity.

FC Platinum officials are in Seville Spain on a tour of Real Betis and the partnership deal is set to be announced in the coming days where the finer details will be unpacked.

La Liga remains one of the two major European league where no Zimbabwean player has ever featured in.
