By A Correspondent- Harare has been hit by a serious shortage of public transport after the government intensified crack down on kombies.

On Friday, people failed to find transport to return to their homes and spent hours waiting for transport.

Most affected were those who stay in Kuwadzana, Warren Park and other western suburbs who get transport at Copacabana Bus Terminal.

“Nothing more than this explains the regime’s tragic failures due to corrupt rule and incompetence,” posted journalist Hopewell Chin’ono on his Twitter account Friday.

“They have failED to provide transportation”, he said.
