By A Correspondent- A ZUPCO conductor only identified as Joy has been shot dead.

The lady conductor only identified as Joy was shot dead in Dzivarasekwa 4 last night around 9pm.

Her workmate Madzimai Tee revealed this on twitter and said Joy was shot dead by the last passenger in the bus.

She said:

My workmate, friend, lil sis shot dead yesterday at DZ4 at around 2100hours. Hey have been robbed guys. ZUPCO connductor kuurayirwa ma bond. Go well Joy moyo wangu waurwadzisa. All the promises you made with us. RIP.”

Another twitter user only identified as Tafa confirmed the development revealing that by Tuesday morning, the body of the deceased was still inside the bus at the crime with police yet to attend to it.

Tafa also said the gunmen did not take any money from te deceased.

He said:

I can confirm its true .The bus Lofombo is still at the crime scene.Mutumbi wemskana arikunzi apfurwa is still inside the bus.Police not yet available.Zvirikunzi they did not take anything mabond ake anawo The driver is saying she was shot straight in the head.”
