Tinashe Sambiri| Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube is spending USD 200 per night at a luxurious hotel in central Harare, it has emerged.

Mthuli Ncube has been staying at Meikles International Hotel for the past three years- at the expense of the taxpayer.

MDC Alliance vice president Hon Tendai Biti has challenged the minister to vacate the hotel with immediate effect.

“The is the worst government in the history of governments.

A bankrupt vacuous regime . How does a government minister spend 3 years living in a grand hotel at the expense of the tax payer.”

Team Pachedu also took the regime to task for wasting the taxpayer’s money on Mthuli’s hotel bills.

“Mthuli Ncube has been staying at @MeiklesHotel for the past 3 years, paying US$200 per night at our expense.

The total hotel bill is US$200,000, which could have been used for the betterment of the tax payers.
