Acting President Kembo Mohadi’s recent celebration of the installation of bucket seats at the National Sports Stadium in Harare was met with skepticism. Mohadi highlighted the upgrade as a key achievement of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration, but many saw it as an underwhelming accomplishment.

During a media briefing, Mohadi praised the new seating, calling it a significant development for Zimbabwe’s sports infrastructure. “We are happy with the installation of bucket seats at the National Sports Stadium. It’s a sign of positive things to come,” he remarked. However, this development comes after criticism from MP Innocent Benza, who expressed concerns over the delay in installing the seats, which is one of the reasons why the Confederation of
