A “pastor,” linked to Former Vice President Joice Mujuru, has been raided and abducted by the CIO (Central Intelligence Organisation) in Chinhoyi, the party says.
The church elder was to officiate an interdenominational meeting with Mujuru at the local church last night before the CIO swooped in, ZimEye.com is told.
While details were sketchy at the time of writing, Zim People First Womens’ League boss elect, Margaret Dongo, confirmed the development in a written party informational.
“They found riot police barricading the church yesterday so that no church service can be held,” she said of the function which also saw Mujuru being blocked.
She continued, “the CIO kidnapped the pastor from his house at night because he was at the church when amai Mujuru was to address the church service…”
She went pleading in Shona, “tinamatireyi chokwadi zvatakaitirwa nezuro mashura chaiwo. Tangataenda na President kumusangano weruwadzano tavharirwa door re church ne gedi madzimai ese akadzingwa vakato daidza riot. Tatodzoka kubva kuchinhoi na President takashatirwa
“Pastor ve…… vakatakurwa husiku ne CIO.”
The pastor’s name could not be ascertained at the time of writing.  Mrs Dongo told ZimEye.com early Wednesday morning, “I don’t know the pastor’s name, I had only travelled with Mai Mujuru, I am finding out today who it is,” she said.
